Sports Centre Supervisor
We are looking for Sports Centre Supervisors to join our team based at the Bablake Sports Centre. Your duties will include assisting in the management of our Sports Facilities ensuring that all users receive an excellent level of service.
Sports Centre/Playing Fields Supervisor – Bablake School
Support - Permanent – 22 hours per week, working to a three-week shift pattern including being on duty weekends and evenings. Salary £22,635 FTE , £14,227 actual.
Working Hours between 16:15 – 22:15 Mon - Fri
11:00 – 18:00 Saturdays
08:00 – 16:30 Sundays
We are looking for Sports Centre Supervisors to join our team based at the Bablake Sports Centre on the Bablake School site, Coundon Road and Bablake School Playing Fields, Norman Place Road. Whilst you will be primarily based at these two sites you may be required to work across all of our sites.
Your duties will include assisting in the management of our Sports Facilities (including the swimming pool, fitness suite and playing fields) ensuring that all users receive an excellent level of provision and service with a focus on health and safety, cleanliness and hygiene. You will manage lifeguards; liaise with customers including taking bookings for the Sports Centre facilities; help develop the Centre Membership Scheme; assist customers and PE staff with the setting up and removing of equipment for lessons and clubs; ensure that pool water tests are carried out; and assist with the maintenance of pool plant and equipment.
Experience in a sports centre/sporting environment is essential with a NPLQ Lifeguard Qualification. Pool Plant qualifications are highly desirable, although full training can be provided. You will be able to work without direct supervision and be confident and positive when liaising with customers and school staff.
