For our 2026 programme we require a suitably qualified Computing Academy Teacher to work at our International Summer School.

Our 2026 Summer School will operate from 12th July to 9th August

Felsted is a leading day and boarding independent school based in a stunning village campus in North Essex. Founded in 1564 by Richard Lord Riche, who had been a Lord Chancellor under King Edward VI.

We celebrated our 450th anniversary in 2014, one of only a handful of Schools in the country that have claimed this historic milestone. We employ more than 160 teachers and 440 operational staff in a community orientated environment, ensuring our pupils receive the very best in learning and co-curricular activities. Felsted today provides an exceptional holistic education to approximately 1100 students aged four to eighteen.

We are excited to be running our twelfth on-site Summer School in 2026. Operating during the School Summer Holidays for four weeks, the programme offers students a wide range of academic, sporting and cultural opportunities for c500 students aged 8-17 from every corner of the world. To run our successful and well-established programme, we need creative, enthusiastic and well qualified staff to work with us.

For our 2026 programme we require a suitably qualified Computing Academy Teacher to teach at our Summer School. The role involves the planning and delivery of a Computing Academy to International Summer School students. The course aims to help each student achieve their individual best to gain specific subject knowledge whilst encouraging full student participation and learner independence.

This is a part time, fixed-term role between 13th July and 7th August 2026 with an induction being held from 8th to 10th July. We may also consider 2 week contracts from 13th July to 24th July and 27th July to 7th August. The teaching hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.
