The role is a maternity cover position to start in September 2026. Teaching up to and including A Level you will be committed to passing on your love of and expertise in the subject. In addition, you should be committed to and promoting and maintaining the high standards of achievement of the pupils and contributing to the development of outstanding teaching practice across the department.

The post would suit a well-qualified Teacher of Geography with experience of teaching in a highly academic setting or an aspiring graduate.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach a minimum of 30 (40 minute) lessons, which would usuallyinclude a form tutor period and possibly a games period. A contribution to the wider life of the School is also expected from staff at Hampton and Teachers may be responsible to other colleagues in their work, (e.g. a Form Tutor will have the Head of Year as their immediate line manager for pastoral work).
