As part of our skilled plumbing and heating team, you’ll play a vital supporting role in maintaining the systems that keep our buildings safe, comfortable, and efficient. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while working towards your qualifications.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems across academic buildings and domestic properties.
- Supporting the upkeep of heating, boiler, and hot water systems.
- Diagnosing and fixing faults under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
- Working collaboratively with other trades to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Staying up to date with new technologies and best practices in plumbing and heating.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone with a keen interest in plumbing and heating, with a commitment to learning and developing your skills.
- Working towards an NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification (or above).
- A team player with a positive attitude and readiness to get stuck in.
- Good IT skills and the ability to keep accurate records.
- A commitment to health, safety, and safeguarding standards.
