We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Head of Learning Support to cover maternity leave from January 2026. This is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to shape inclusive educational provision within a dynamic and nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with proven expertise in SEND, ideally holding the NASENCo qualification. You will lead a dedicated Learning Support team, working closely with staff across our Junior school to ensure pupils with specific learning needs receive excellent, tailored support.

Responsibilities include strategic development of SEND provision, leadership of the department, pupil assessment, liaison with parents and external agencies, and oversight of EHCPs. A commitment to collaboration, professional development, and whole-school inclusion is essential.

Based in the Kent countryside and close to the Cathedral city of Canterbury, Junior King's is one of the most prestigious prep schools in the country.
