We are seeking an exceptional finance professional to join our Senior Management Team as Head of Finance, covering a period of maternity leave. This is a key leadership role, reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, with responsibility for shaping and delivering the financial strategy of the School and Foundation.

You will lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audit, compliance and capital planning, while developing and inspiring the Finance Team. You will provide clear, insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making at executive and governor level.

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant senior-level experience, strong commercial acumen, and a collaborative leadership style. Experience in the independent school or charitable sector is desirable but not essential; we value candidates from diverse backgrounds who share our ethos and values.

This fixed-term role is expected to last up to one year, concluding on the return of the substantive postholder. A competitive salary in the region of £70k per annum is offered, alongside generous benefits and the opportunity to make a real impact within a forward-thinking educational community.
