Resident Boarding Assistant (Middle School)

Required for March 2019 We are looking to appoint someone to the full time residential role of Boarding Assistant working in our Middle School Boarding House (Years 9, 10 and 11).
The successful candidate will share the responsibility for the well-being and welfare of our Middle School boarders. They will assist the Housemistresses and two other Boarding Assistants in the smooth running of the House. The successful candidate will be caring, positive and conscientious with a good sense of humour, flexibility, stamina and attention to detail.
Benefits include year round free single accommodation in the boarding house and free meals during term time, paid school holidays and use of school facilities. Involvement in the wider life of the school is expected.
No previous school experience is required but empathy of the needs of teenage girls is essential. This post would suit someone interest in pursuing a career in schools.
This is a full–time post, working term-time only with an associated salary in the region of £15,000pa.
