We're seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our Estates team as soon as possible.

This is typically a full-time role working all year round across all areas of the College and is responsible for all electrical maintenance, inspection, installation, testing and rectification work. Applications for part-time and flexible working arrangements will also be considered.

This is a hands-on role where you will be required to work independently and prioritise your workload effectively understanding that working in a busy boarding school environment means safety, reliability and minimal disruption are paramount. The successful candidate will be professional, dependable and proactive - someone who enjoys being part of a wider collaborative team.

Shiplake College is an independent boarding and day school for around 580 pupils aged 11 to 18. There has been a co-educational Sixth Form since 1998 and since September 2023 girls have been welcomed into Year 7 as the College became fully co-educational. Situated in 63 acres of beautiful countryside near Henley-on-Thames, we offer an outstanding education based on small class sizes, excellent facilities and dedicated teaching staff.
