Librarian
The Library plays a key role in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. The Librarian will manage, develop, promote and evaluate of an effective learning resource and information service which supports learning and teaching across St John’s School.
35 hours a week, 36 weeks per year (term time plus two weeks). September 2025 start.
Salary - £33,452 to £38,227 FTE (£26,523 to £30,309 actual) per annum
The Library plays a key role in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. The Librarian will manage, develop, promote and evaluate of an effective learning resource and information service which supports learning and teaching across St John’s School.
Applicants need to have demonstrable experience of building good working relationships, a high level of IT proficiency, excellent communication skills and the skills and confidence to instruct pupils. A degree and/or Diploma in Librarianship accredited by CILIP (Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals) is desirable but not essential.
