Exciting new opportunity for an Outdoor Education Instructor to contribute to our exciting outdoor education programme at LEH, including taking an active role with the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) programme and other Outdoor Ed’ opportunities. We are looking for someone who will engage and inspire our pupils and undertake all tasks to an excellent standard.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine administration and co-ordination of the School’s DofE and CCF Contingent under the direction of the Outdoor Education Manager. 51 Days Voluntary Allowance from the MOD is also applicable.

This role is 15 hours per week (term-time only), to be worked flexibly in agreement with the line manager, these hours will include working from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Fridays. There will be a requirement to work an additional 11 days during/outside of term-time, which may include evenings and weekends as directed by the line manager.

Safeguarding Statement:

All staff working in the School will have some contact with children and will therefore be in regulated activity. Staff with teaching duties will be responsible for the pupils that they teach and may also have additional specific pastoral or other responsibilities for other pupils they do not teach. In addition, all staff will regularly interact with pupils who may seek assistance or otherwise interact with them whilst moving around the School.
