Tormead School is an academically selective independent school for 800 girls aged 4–18, located a short stroll from the historic town centre of Guildford, just 40 minutes by train to London.

We are looking for an experienced and inspirational Netball Professional to join our professional and committed Sports department team at an exciting time in the School’s evolution as we launch our new Performance Programme and continue to deliver our ambitious plans for growth.

Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Netball, the successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality, inclusive Netball sessions and games lessons across the Prep and Senior Schools. The successful candidate will seek to nurture talent whilst promoting and supporting broader participation levels in Netball. Candidates must hold a Level 2 Netball coaching qualification, and have experience of coaching within a school, club or performance pathway. Candidates must have a warm and professional personal presence and demonstrate coaching and/or playing netball to a high standard. Experience of working within the education sector would be considered favourably.

This is a part-time position for 12.5 hours per week, initially on a fixed term basis for one term. Hours of work will be 2pm to 5.45pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 4.15pm to 5.45pm on Tuesday during the School’s term time. Due to the nature of this role, some commitment on Saturday mornings will be required to coach or umpire fixtures.
