Tormead School is an academically selective independent school for 800 girls aged 4–18, located in the historic town centre of Guildford.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant with professional experience of supporting the teaching and learning of pupils in EYFS and Key Stage 1. Working closely with the Class Teacher, the successful candidate will play a key role in providing a safe and nurturing environment to allow our pupils to thrive. Applicants will have a warm and caring attitude and a genuine desire to make a positive difference to children’s learning.

A relevant qualification, such as NVQ/CACHE Level 2/3 for Teaching Assistants is desirable. Candidates with a willingness to work towards a qualification in childcare and education will be considered favourably. Candidates must inspire high standards, show initiative and have an ability to work as part of a team.

This post is full-time during term time only and will initially be for a fixed period of one year.
